At the same; the Police Service Commission has hinted that some fake candidates may have infiltrated the various police training camps across the country, but assured that such persons would be fished out and prosecuted.
This information was contained in a statement released by the Head of Press and Public Relations of the PSC, IKECHUKWU ANI, which was obtained by our correspondent.
The statement noted that the applicants on the Reserve List would be considered in line with available vacancies from the Training Colleges.
The Commission said it was awaiting reports from the Police Staff College, Jos, and the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, where candidates for ASPs and
Inspectors are undergoing training.
It further noted that the interview of Specialists applicants was shifted from December last year due to letters from professional bodies questioning the qualifications of some of the candidates on the list.
