SODIENYE MBATUMUKEKE, EXCEL DIVINE NABA and JOY ELUWA allegedly committed the crime when the courier met them to deliver two mobile phones and a super bike they ordered online.
The Police Public Relations Officer, NNAMDI OMONI said operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Rivers State Police Command stormed the crime scene to arrest the suspects and recover the body of the murdered courier.
OMONI said the Commissioner of Police, ZAKI AHMED led other senior police officers to the scene of the crime, where he appealed to the public to always assist the police with useful information to resolve crimes.
The PPRO further disclosed that the suspects are now helping the police in ongoing investigations to track down other culprits.
