Also joined in the strike are members of the Air Transport Senior Staff Services Association of Nigeria and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers.
The striking airport workers are mainly drawn from Arik Airline, as the workers protest against alleged failure by the management to pay seven months of salary arrears, as well as other alleged anti-labour practices.
