The Spokesman of PANDEF, Ken Robinson who spoke at the Niger Delta Alternative Convergence in Port Harcourt, said the flooding as projected by the National Emergency Management Agency will impact coastal communities more.
Robinson urged the organizers of the Alternative Convergence to take advantage of the opportunity and alert coastal community to be vigilant as well as government to be on alert to ensure proper planning for the safety of the people.
In his goodwill message, Professor Lucky Akarueso of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Port Harcourt called for an end to motor-sub pollution which he said will help protect the Niger Delta environment.
