The state lawmaker representing ONELGA constituency one, CHRISTIAN AHIAKWO said the visit of the Acting President will go a long way in resolving the issues in the region.
AHIAKWO however said the visit by Professor OSINBAJO may not yield the needed result if he did not go to ONELGA to see how international oil companies in the area have failed in their core responsibilities.
For his part, member representing ONELGA State Constituency Two, NATHANIEL OWAJI said ONELGA has suffered great devastation and neglect.
Meanwhile; Vice President YEMI OSINBAJO is expected to make two stops in Rivers State for interactions with stakeholders from the upland and riverine communities.
The Vice President was also in Bayelsa State last Friday, having previously visited Delta State, to complete the three Niger States listed in the ongoing consultations by the high-powered delegation of the Federal Government.
