Okoronkwo, Alozie, Kanu Join Super Falcons Camp Ahead of WAFCON 2026

Super Falcons trio Esther Okoronkwo, Michelle Alozie and Uchenna Kanu have arrived at the team’s training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, as preparations continue for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The arrival of the experienced players has increased the number of players in camp to 22, with only three players—Gift Monday, Deborah Abiodun and Folashade Ijamilusi—still expected before the squad is complete.

The defending champions are expected to travel to Rabat ahead of their opening group match against Malawi on July 28, with Zambia and Egypt also in Nigeria’s group.
