The Commander NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Desmond Igbo who addressed newsmen in Port Harcourt explained that the three suspects who were allegedly facilitating fake oil approval for a vessel MV Mother Gabrini, were arrested on November 8, 2023 by FOB Bonny for suspected illegal bunkering activities in Rivers State.
Commodore Igbo revealed that one of the suspects identified as Williams Nweale, is an impostor just as he warned oil thieves within Rivers State to desist from the act as the base will stop at nothing to ensuring they are apprehended and prosecuted.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the three suspects were handed over to the Division Police Officer, DOP in charge of Rumuolumeni station, Funke Opayemi for proper prosecution.
