The Ogun State Police Command says it has arrested 89 drivers for violating the Inspector-General of Police’s directive targeting vehicles without registration number plates or with concealed number plates.
The command said the enforcement is aimed at tackling security threats, adding that such violations pose risks to both local and national security.
Police also confirmed the arrest of two suspected armed robbers, identified as Abdulsalam Adam and Israel Salako, with a stolen vehicle and two motorcycles recovered during separate operations across the state.
