Wike disclosed this during the commissioning of the project in Port Harcourt.
The governor said he cannot afford to leave the facility under the care of the state ministry of Health, adding that civil servants are not good managers of government properties.
The Governor also said he owes no one any apology for naming the center after former Governor Peter Odili.
On his part, the Emir of Kano Ado Bayero who commissioned the project, commended the governor for the project.
