The factional State Chairman of NYCN, Bani Nwisabari-Samuel in a statement described Ihunwo as a known impostor, adding that their response is to set the records straight and to stop the deceptive tendencies of Ihunwo and his allies.
According to the statement signed by the Senior Special Media Adviser to the factional Chairman, Hycienth Ana, Nwisabari-Samuel recalled that Ihunwo and his allies have a case with the police in court.
The statement reiterated that no such election was held and called on the police who also supervises NYCN elections and other security sister agencies to immediately arrest Ihunwo and his cohorts for impersonation and breach of public peace in the state.
He equally urged Governor Siminalayi Fabara to stop patronizing illegality, noting that dealing with such people will amount to Rivers youths forcing themselves to protect the mandate of her leadership at all costs.
