NSCDC parades 10 oil thieves, impounds 15 cars in Rivers

Parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt, the State Commandant Basil Igwebueze said the arrest of the ten suspects was made possible due to the proactive nature of the Command’s Anti-vandal Unit.

He noted that the proactive measures taken by the NSCDC, reflects their commitment to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure as their latest stance against crude oil theft will send a strong message to potential criminals that their illegal activities will not be tolerated.

Commandant Basil while giving an annual score card for the year, said the Command has deployed over two thousand three hundred personnel to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure across the state before, during and after the Christmas and New Year celebration.
