Nigerian defender Kingsley Ehizibue is set to leave Italian Serie A club Udinese after contract renewal talks between both parties reportedly reached a deadlock.
Udinese had hoped to extend the versatile full-back’s stay until 2028, but negotiations stalled after the two sides failed to agree on the terms of a new deal.
Ehizibue, whose current contract expires this summer, is now expected to leave the club as a free agent after spending four seasons with the Bianconeri. Reports indicate that another Serie A club is already interested in securing his signature.
The 31-year-old joined Udinese from German club FC Köln in 2022 and has established himself as a regular member of the squad, making over 100 appearances in all competitions.
