Nigeria Army losses 2 soldiers in a clash with Boko Haram

However; the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN said troops of Operation Lafiya Dole and the Multinational Joint Task Force dealt decisively with the invading terrorists.

Colonel USMAN said the encounter happened yesterday morning, and lasted for about two hours.

He said troops killed fifteen suspected Boko Haram insurgents, while four soldiers were wounded in the fierce battle.

The soldiers also recovered weapons and ammunition from the insurgents, including a gun truck, a mortar tube and bomb, a General Purpose Machine, three damaged AK-47 rifles, and four bandoliers of Anti-Aircraft rounds of ammunition.
