Following the expiration of the deadline given by the bloc, President Tinubu said it is vital that all avenues of engagement to ensure a swift return to constitutional government in Niger are exhausted
They also recognized that the political crisis in Niger not only poses a threat to the stability of that country, but also has far reaching implications for the entire West African sub-region.
According to the President, the regional bloc must engage the coup leaders in the neighbouring country to reinstate President Mohamed Bazoum.
Meanwhile; President Bola Tinubu said no option is off the table including the use of force, as the last resort in resolving the Niger Republic crisis.
