This time a group known as Mass Movement for Good Governance is urging President Muhammadu Buhari to reverse the current appointment made into the NDDC.
The leader of the group, Innocent Ajaelu in a media briefing in Port Harcourt said the extant law establishing the NDDC was not complied with in the nomination process.
Ajaelu also said Rivers state was excluded in the Executive Directorate of the agency which is against the NDDC Act.
The group therefore called on the National Assembly to suspend the screening of the nominees until the right thing is done.
