Angus Chukwuka of Admiralty Lawyers in his reaction to the arrival of the ship said the berthing of the Maerskline Stardel-horn vessel has made the eastern port come alive.
Chukwuka who commended the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA and other federal agencies, advised that adequate checks be carries out on the vessel to ensure that it does not pose any threat to Rivers state and Nigeria.
The Nigerian Ports Authority announced the successful berthing of the biggest container vessel to ever call at any Nigerian port, the Maerskline Stardelhorn vessel with Length overall of three hundred that was received at the Federal Ocean Terminal, Onne in Rivers State last weekend.
