An indigene of the community who confirmed the killing to our correspondent said OBASI who is from Ochugba Community in the area was rounded up and killed by one of the leader of a cult gang and his gang members and later went further to burn down OBASI’S family building.
Our source said the leader of the cult gang popularly called BIP who has been on the wanted list of Rivers State Government and his gang members ambushed their victim who has been away from the community on his arrival and first chopped off his two legs, hands before shooting him to dead.
When contacted the Spokesman of Rivers State Police Command SP Nnamdi Omoni said the command is yet to be briefed on the incident.
