The State Chairman of Labour Party, FELIX FAVOUR made the call against the backdrop of the dismissal of six police officers attached to Governor NYESOM WIKE.
The dismissed policemen were accused of misuse of their firearm assigned to them and ignoring directives from superior officers when they accompanied Governor WIKE to the Rivers East Senatorial District Collation Centre at Port Harcourt City Local Government council secretariat.
But the State Chairman of Labour Party said it was selective for the Nigeria Police Force to single out the policemen attached to the Governor for reprimand.
FELIX FAVOUR told our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA that several other police officers were also involved in electoral malpractices during the rerun last month.
