Our correspondent gathered that chief OBUAH was whisked away at gunpoint alongside his son and wife by kidnappers who stormed their residence at Ubima community yesterday.
A source who told our correspondent that the gunmen later abandoned the wife and son and made away with Chief Obuah.
The Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni told our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR that he had not been briefed about the incident, but promised to call the DPO in charge of the area to confirm the development.
