Kano Pillars have announced the appointment of Mohammed Babaganaru as their interim technical adviser following the dismissal of coach Evan Ogenyi.
The club confirmed the development on Monday, stating that Babaganaru will take charge of the team with immediate effect.
Ogenyi was relieved of his duties on Sunday after a series of poor results that left the Sai Masu Gida struggling in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Babaganaru, an experienced tactician, previously managed Nigeria National League side Akwa United and also had successful spells with Kano Pillars in the past, leading them to domestic titles.
The club’s management expressed confidence that his return will help stabilize the team as they look to revive their campaign.
