Serie A Clubs Line Up Move for Gift Orban

Serie A clubs are reportedly monitoring Nigerian striker Gift Orban as they consider strengthening their attacking options ahead of future transfer windows.

Bologna are among the teams keeping close tabs on the forward, who is currently on loan at Hellas Verona from German side TSG Hoffenheim. The Italian club are said to view him as a cost-effective attacking option compared to other targets on their shortlist.

Orban, 23, joined Verona on loan in 2025 with an option to buy after his move from Hoffenheim. The deal reportedly includes a permanent transfer clause valued at around €9 million if activated.

His time in Italy has been mixed so far, with inconsistent form and Verona’s struggles affecting his impact. However, several clubs are still assessing his potential to develop into a dependable striker in Serie A.

At this stage, interest remains at the scouting level, with no official bid yet made.
