Atletico Madrid has reportedly rejected a €150 million offer from city rivals Real Madrid for Argentine striker Julian Alvarez.
The Spanish club turned down the bid, insisting that Alvarez remains a key part of its plans and pointing to his €500 million release clause.
The 26-year-old World Cup winner joined Atletico Madrid from Manchester City in 2024 in a deal worth £81.5 million.
Alvarez enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 20 goals in 49 appearances as Atletico Madrid finished fourth in La Liga and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
