Israeli Military Kills 67 Civilians Waiting for UN Aid in Northern Gaza

At least 67 people have been killed by Israeli military fire while waiting for United Nations aid trucks in northern Gaza, according to humanitarian and local sources.

The UN World Food Programme reported that its 25-truck convoy, carrying essential supplies, encountered large crowds of starving civilians shortly after crossing from Israel and passing through security checkpoints. The crowds came under gunfire near the distribution point.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) acknowledged the incident, stating that its troops fired warning shots to remove what it described as an “immediate threat.”

The incident has drawn sharp concern from international observers, as Gaza continues to grapple with a worsening humanitarian crisis.
