National Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this while speaking at a town hall meeting where he also disclosed that INEC had 2,000 Litigations from the 2019 general elections.
Yakubu who advised the National Assembly to expedite action on the amendment of the Electoral Act, also said the conduct of by-elections is also cost intensive, a situation that stretches INEC’s financial capacity.
