The Governor of Jigawa, BADARU ABUBAKAR who briefed newsmen about the outcome of the meeting said the decision was unanimous.
The council also approved the appointment of six National Commissioners for the Independent National Electoral Commission to bring the number of commissioners to twelve.
Five new commissioners for the National population commission to represent the remaining geo-political service in the country were also approved.
