Governors of states within the South-South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, except Edo State, have resolved to make a formal complaint to President MUHMAMMADU BUHARI over the security challenges caused by herdsmen.The five governors of PDP-controlled Cross Rivers, AkwaIbom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta have, therefore, requested an audience with President BUHARI to discuss the matter.Rising from a meeting in Asaba, Delta State yesterday, the South-South state governors also condemned the recent pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta.Governors IFEANYI OKOWA, UDOM EMMANUEL, NYESOM WIKE, SERIAKE DICKSON and Professor BEN AYADE also discussed how to wrest power in APC-controlled Edo State in the forthcoming governorship election.Briefing newsmen after the meeting at the Government House in Asaba, the host governor, IFEANYI OKOWA, said that far reaching decisions were made, including on the forthcoming PDP national convention in Rivers State on 21st of May.
