Siminalayi Fubara has extended Easter greetings to residents of Rivers State, urging them to embrace sacrifice, reconciliation, and unity during the Christian celebration.
In a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, the governor encouraged Christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice he said brought forgiveness and reconciliation to humanity. He described Easter as a sacred season that calls for the promotion of peace, love, and unity among the people.
Fubara noted that the resurrection of Christ symbolizes hope, renewal, and victory over adversity, adding that the season offers an opportunity for spiritual growth and reflection. He prayed that Easter would bring joy and renewed hope to Rivers residents and the nation at large.
The governor also commended the resilience of the Christian community and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance and fostering unity across the state.
