This followed the inauguration of a Special Task Force, which began its operation with the removal of over two thousand vehicle tyres on the streets around GRA, Nkpogu and Stadium.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, SIMEON NWAKAUDU, disclosed in a statement that operatives of the Task Force also towed twenty abandoned vehicles on the streets of the areas visited.
The operation comes into force on the expiration of a one-week ultimatum for all street traders, vendors, artisans, vulcanisers and road side to vacate the roads of Port Harcourt.
