Governor WIKE made the announcement after receiving the report of the Rivers State Amnesty Committee at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The Governor directed security agencies to ensure that no vigilante committee exist in the state, except members of the group are profiled by the security agencies and approved by the State Government.
The Rivers State Governor also dismissed insinuations in some quarters that the State Amnesty programme was politically motivated.
He said the evidence of the Amnesty report has proved to critics that his administration was committed to fighting crime and criminality in the State.
Governor WIKE further advised the repentant cultist and kidnappers that have denounced crime and criminality to desist from their wicked activities and live responsibly.
