Fresh fuel price hike looms as landing cost rises

This was revealed by the Rivers State Chairman of the Petroleum Product Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria, Francis Dimkpa, who said the price of petrol at the various depots in the state has increased and will soon reflect in the various retail outlets in the state.

Dimkpa in an interview with Today FM’s Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe, noted that PETROAN members are yet selling their old stock of petrol, hence, the sale of petrol at the old price.

He added that it is uncertain the price of petrol will be sold after the difference at the depots is reflected in filing stations.

The PETROAN Chairman however, appealed to members of the public not to buy petrol in bulk to save at their homes.
