The formal handover of the vaccines was done yesterday at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, National Strategic Cold Store, Abuja.
The EU ambassador, Samuel Aisopi who made the presentation of the vaccines said the donation is part of the EU’s commitment to jointly combat the pandemic.
The Executive Director of the agency, Doctor Faisal Shuaib said the Federal Government in a way of combating the pandemic, procured over thirty nine million doses of the J&J vaccine, through AFREXIM bank.
