Our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA gathered that the government’s injunction is meant to compel the health workers to abort their three weeks old industrial action and return to work.
A source within the union confirmed the receipt of the court order but said the leadership of the National Union of Allied Health Professionals had decided to ignore the injunction.
The union official who does not want to be named wondered why the court order should be obeyed after the Federal Government disobeyed a court judgment in favour of the union since 2013.
