Federal Government revisit some unresolved high-profile murder cases.

These include the murder of former Attorney General of the Federation, Chief BOLA IGE and a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief AMINOSARI DOKUBO.

Chief BOLA IGE was assassinated at his home in Bodija area of Ibadan, Oyo State in December, 2001, while Chief AMINOSARI DOKUBO was killed near Asaba, Delta State in October, 2004.

The assassinations happened during the administration of Chief OLUSEGUN OBASANJO as civilian president of Nigeria.

Reports say President MUHAMMADU BUHARI is interested in getting to the root of both murder cases and has directed the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IBRAHIM IDRIS, to reopen the investigations.
