The victims were identified as NWONEBE WOSU, CHINEDU OWHOR and the third whose name was given simply as CHINULE.
A source closed to the community said inhabitants of Elibrada could not sleep due to heavy gun battle that lasted for several hours.
After the shooting subsided, those who were spared have no fled, while security operatives could not be seen anywhere around in the early hours of the morning.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, NNAMDI OMONI has confirmed the disturbances at Elibrada.
But OMONI said the command was yet to get official report from the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area for onwards actions.
