The Etche and Omuma traditional rulers are also requesting for the upgrade of several of their members to second class titles to assist them to perform better.
The proposals were made to the Rivers State Panel of Inquiry on the Review of Classification of Chieftaincy Stools.
In his presentation; Eze SAMUEL AMAECHI of Igbo Kingdom, said they decided to make the demand because of the increase in population.
The Onyeisi Agwuru Igbo Kingdom noted that the existing first class traditional chiefs were being overwhelmed with additional responsibilities.
For his part, the Onuowu of Igbo kingdom, KEMAKOLOM NWANUO said giving more titles to Igbo kingdom in Etche local government will bring peace , development and draw the people closer to government.
