Stephen Oduwari of Health of Mother Earth Foundation, who spoke during a one day Cycle of Reflection forum with the people of Eteo especially the farmers to better understand issues of land grabbing, said the forum is also aimed at developing an agenda for the people to demand and ensure that those who polluted their land are held accountable.
Oduwari however, stressed the need for the people to work together in the fight against International Oil Multinational who have polluted their land and water, leading to the level of suffering been experienced.
On his part, the Director of We The People, Ken Henshaw, who was also present during the sensitization at Eteo community while expressing concerns over continuous environmental pollution, accused the International Oil Companies of always using divide and rule tactics in extorting the people.
