BELGORE, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission alongside former Minister of National Planning, Professor ABUBAKAR SULAIMAN.
The EFCC slammed a five-count charge against both men, bothering on conspiracy to take possession of four hundred and fifty million naira, which the agency claims to be the proceeds of an illegal act.
BELGORE and SULAIMAN pleaded not guilty to the charge and were granted bail on self recognizance by Justice RILWAN AIKAWA.
However; the accused persons were ordered to deposit their passports with the Deputy Chief Registrar of the court, while the case was adjourned till 23rd February for trial.
