GARAH-JUMBO in the two count charge facing him had disguised himself as DSS personnel during the just concluded Rivers rerun election and defrauded the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Degema Local Government Area in the State over two million naira.
Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that when the charge was read in the court, the accused pleaded guilty.
Counsel to the DSS, C. EZE had earlier told the Court that the accused until his arrest, was parading himself as a personnel of DSS deployed from Abuja for the December election, thereby defrauding his victims.
Chief Magistrate, S. D ANDREW-JAJA remanded the accused in prison custody before adjourning till January 30 for further proceedings.
