CALEB ESSIAN and GODSWILL UCHECHUKWU-OHAJI who are both youth activists, called for greater attention on security in Rivers State.
ESSIAN and UCHECHUKWU-OHAJI who are leaders of Nigerian Youths for Peace and Democracy, said Governor NYESOM WIKE has done well in terms of development of infrastructure.
They advised politicians to work together for the sake of development, just as they urged youths to shun cultism and violent crimes in the interest of peace and security.
On his part, the President Aggrieved Niger Delta Youths, PRINCE AMATARI, called for establishment of local vigilante groups to help reduce the level of insecurity in Rivers State, instead of granting amnesty to criminals.
Also speaking in an interview with correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR, DARLINGTON NWAUJU who is a youth activist from Omuma, commended the Federal Government led by President MOHAMMADU BUHARI for performing well in the past two years.
NWAUJU also picked on insecurity in Rivers State as a major challenge that should be given serious attention.
