The group during its one day media conference on job creation in Rivers state said the upsurge in unemployment is as a result of lack of priority by the government.
Spokesperson for the CSOs, Deborah Effiong, told newsmen that the group established a programme to ensure that the Rivers state government and the Federal Government implement the right policies that will lead to job creation and employment.
Today Fm correspondent Olawale Sanusi, reports that the group also recommended that the River state Governor, Nyesom Wike, declares a state of emergency on the issue of unemployment as well as prioritise the issue of human capital development before leaving office.
