The lawsuit was filed by the Commissioner for Water Resources, Chief IBIBIA WALTER and nineteen other PDP members from Okirika.
Our correspondent UCHNDU EJIOWHOR reports that the PDP members initiated the lawsuit in the buildup to the last rerun election on 19th of March.
The plaintiff had also asked the court to award the sum of one million naira as damage against the respondent in favour of each for alleged violation of their fundamental human rights.
But in his ruling today, Justice S.C AMADI dismissed the suit for lack of merit, adding that the plaintiff did not show any cause why the DSS would have them arrested.
After the court hearing; counsel to the both parties declined to speak to newsmen on the development.
