Dingyadi, who made this known during a retreat organized for senior police officers in Uyo, AkwaIbom State, noted that the move is to dissect policing challenges and current internal security realities with the aim of mitigating them.
The minister also expressed hope that the reform will strengthen the bond between the force and public in a quest to present a common front against elements threatening the peace and security of the country.
He said it is in line with the new police vision which is to fight against threats from activities of bandits, terrorist, secessionist groups and other criminalities aimed at altering national values.
