Members of the public are advised not to panic when they encounter a large body of troops marching on the East-West Road, through Rumuokoro and the Port Harcourt Barracks.
The Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel ILIYASU AMINU said the exercise would begin at about 6AM from Ikwerre Road-Rumuigbo Roundabout through NTA Road.
In a statement obtained by our correspondent; the Army spokesman said the Annual Route March exercise was meant to assess the physical fitness and endurance of troops for effective manpower development.
