ADESINA said that was all President BUHARI needs from Nigerians, just as he said only the President has the right to disclose to Nigerians his health condition.
The Presidential spokesman defended his position based on the rule of doctor-patient confidentiality, which he said must be respected.
He was speaking in a television interview during which he also confirmed President BUHARI’s letter notifying the National Assembly about his decision to extend his leave beyond ten days.
ADESINA urged Nigerians to disregard the rumours that the President may have died.
The President’s media aide however said there is no vacuum in the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In his letter to the National Assembly; President BUHARI said he needed to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.
The statement issued by the Presidential spokesman on the development was silent on when to expect President BUHARI back in the country.
