The people of Abissa Kingdom in a protest in Port Harcourt, complained of an alleged plan by some leaders, to deny Ward 17 zoning arrangement for the counsellorship position in the area.
The people complained that the counsellorship position is still being allocated to the same community that has the serving councillor, after waiting for fourteen years for the position to be zoned back to them.
The Youth President of Abissa Kingdom, Prince Amachree who read out the positions of Abissa people, said they are aware of a document been circulated on social media, signed by the leaders of Akuku Toru Local Government which he said is against the long age zoning arrangement between the people.
On their parts; the Prince of Abissa Kingdom, Charles Lordson and Tammy Joshua who is the Public Relations Officer of the Youth in the community, threatened to reject any act of injustice against the people.
