The gunman who killed nine church members at a church in Charleston, South Carolina has been slammed with additional charges.

Twenty-one-year-old DYLANN ROOF is further accused of attempted murder, in addition to his existing nine counts of murder and one weapons possession over the incident on 17th June.
The attempted murder charges relate to three people who were present during the attack but survived, including a woman and a small child who played dead and a third woman whom the killer left alive to tell others about the crime.
