The explosion occurred on Tuesday at the Liquefied Petroleum Gas domestic retail center at the popular Ladipo Spare Parts Market.
The incident was confirmed to newsmen by a spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye.
Farinloye stated that the bodies of four adults have so far been recovered from the scene of the explosion including three men, a woman and a ten years old child who died on the way to the hospital.
