2023 elections: Cleric calls for peaceful campaigns

Bishop of the Diocese of the Niger Delta North, Saint Pauls Anglican Communion, Wisdom Ihunwo who spoke at an event to flag off of the campaign of the Social Democratic party, charge candidates not to see the 2023 elections as a do or die affair.

Bishop Wisdom Ihunwo during his sermon emphasized on the challenges threatening the unity of the country, while insisting that citizens should seek the face of God for peace to be restored.

In his remark, the governorship candidate of SDP, Senator Magnus Abe, said there was no need to fight the state government over his decision that political parties should be pay five million naira before using public school premises for campaigns.

Abe also commended Governor Nyesom Wike for the succor provided for flood victims.
