The details of the meeting held yesterday have not been made public but observers believe that it is aimed at resolving the differences between Atiku and Governor Wike
Governors of Abia and Benue states as well as former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose attended the meeting
The meeting comes after former president, Olusegun Obasanjo; the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike also met in London on Thursday.
Thursday meetings followed a similar one Governor Wike held with the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in London.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has cautioned his supporters, particularly party stalwarts to desist from making inciting statements that could affect the ongoing internal reconciliation process.
Atiku who made the call through a press statement signed by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, in Abuja on Thursday, said the appeal becomes necessary in order to call the attention of party leaders and members to the diversionary antics of the ruling All Progressives Congress
