The Chairman of the committee, Senator DANJUMA GOJE today told his colleague in plenary that the budget document was missing.
Senator GOJE said the budget documents, together with eighteen files, a computer laptop and others materials were moved from his home during a recent raid by the police.
In his reaction; the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI expressed concern about the development and directed the Inspector General of Police to release the seized items.
Senator SARAKI equally constituted an ad hoc committee to review the circumstances surrounding the raid on Senator GOJE’s home in relation to the budget and report back in four weeks.
